Le Hussard was a brigantine schooner of the French Navy, built in 1845. Armament included two rotating war cannons, mounted fore and aft of the ship. In 1848 these weapons constituted a true innovation as the manoeuvrability of the ship made the Hussard a very formidable weapon.
Model Build.
This model was originally built at THE MODEL SHIPYARD in Mossel Bay in South Africa. They are the only designers and builders of the STEPHENS & KENAU™ range of model ships in the entire world.
